The IFIP IIP conference series (IIP2000,IIP2002,IIP2004)provides a forum for engineers and scientists in academia, university and industry to present their latest research findings in any aspects of intelligent information processing.This time, we especially encourage papers on Data Mining, Knowledge Management, intelligent agent, machine learning, autonomic reasoning etc.We also welcome papers that highlight successful modern applications of IIP, such as Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, e-Services, e-Learning, Business Intelligence.IIP-2006 attempts to meet the needs of a large and diverse community.Topics of IIP-2006 include, but are not limited to:

Workshop,
Tutorial and Panel Proposals:
The conference Program Committee invites proposals for workshops, tutorial and panel.
Proposals should be received by one of the program chairs no later than May 10, 2006.
Submission:
Papers should be no longer than 10 pages including all tables, figures, and references but excluding a cover page. Fonts should be in 10-12 pt. Each submission must include one cover page which should contain:
- Title of the paper with an abstract of no more than 500 words;
- A few keywords, from the list above where possible, giving a clear indication of topics;
- Author names with affiliations, complete postal addresses, and phone numbers;
- Email address of the contact author.
Detailed paper formatting instructions are available as Word template or LaTeX style files. All papers should be sent electronically (preferably in PDF) to a Web submission page. All accepted papers will be published in IFIP International Federation for Information Processing series by Springer. See IIP2004 proceeding in Springer and Amazon.
